About Holy Keys
Holy Keys
Claves Sanctae. An Incipit Games title.
Christ gave Peter the keys of the kingdom (Matthew 16:19), and the novice earns the keys of the keyboard. Every correct keystroke copies Scripture, rings a bell, or sings the next note of a chant.
What it is and who it is for
Holy Keys is a free pixel-art typing game that teaches touch typing through the beauty of the Catholic tradition. Players begin as a young novice in a medieval abbey and learn the home row, then every key, by copying psalms, prayers and verses from Scripture. Short lessons, gentle games like Manna and the One-Minute Trial, saint cards and Gregorian chant melodies turn daily practice into something children look forward to.
It is made for children roughly seven to fourteen, homeschool families, Catholic and Christian schools, and teachers who want a calm, ad-free typing curriculum. Teachers can create a classroom, share a join code and follow progress, while the Sanctuary offers unscored space for prayer.
Holy Keys is built by Incipit Games, a small independent studio making faithful, thoughtful learning games for families and schools. Questions or ideas? Visit our Contact page.
